WELCOME! I'm Kelly
I'm a painter, teacher, facilitator, and healer with paint...
I am an artist and teacher who guides women and girls in discovering their creative essence and inner wisdom. I use Intentional Creativity® as a means to bring form and language to that which is uncovered to us in the creative process.
What is revealed can be healed through written words, symbols, drawing and painting. Through this sacred journey, women are empowered and develop a deeper connection to their own creative essence and personal medicine to transform themselves.
I am a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I am a trained artist with studies centered in drawing, illustration and printmaking. While attending college, I traveled to homes bringing my art supplies and taught drawing and painting to children. I created my own fine art curriculum for each student. They learned value, composition, perspective, and color theory.

After graduation I worked as a graphic designer for a monument company for many years. It was at this time where I really developed my compassion for people, listening to their stories about a loved one. I would take that information and create a design carved in stone that represented what was important to the family.
In my studio, I was painting a lot of landscapes. They were vibrant and very loosely
painted using oils. I used thick brushstrokes and bright colors to convey the beauty of nature and the presence of God I felt on my long walks in nature. In 2013, my life fell apart, my dad passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. In that same year our dog passed away and I was also going through a devastating divorce.

During this extremely low time I found the work of artist Shiloh Sophia McCloud. She painted Divine feminine images of women and mothers, along with images of Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene. My background was Catholic mixed in with non-Denominational beliefs and I was drawn to the feminine images that were glorified with beauty and grace. I often felt that this holy "mother" image was not represented at the same level as the male image in history, and thus began my passion and advocacy for women around the world.

In 2017, I began working in acrylic paints, creating paintings that include women and wisdom. I became a certified Reiki healer, opening a studio (later closing due to COVID) in 2018 and offering healing art classes and Reiki sessions. I developed a curriculum for women who could use art to work through feelings of hurt, anxiety and depression. I enrolled in many art classes with Shiloh, my mentor. In 2019, I became a certified teacher of Intentional Creativity, and a certified Red Thread facilitator, working with women all over the SE portion of Wisconsin, including forming the Red Thread Women's Circle that I lead today.
